The program will invite our teachers to take up their role as Pilgrims of Hope in the world and to look beyond as they engage in the evangelising mission of making Jesus known and loved. Participants will be invited to deepen their awareness of life as a spiritual journey which finds its resting place in the God of love and to grow in understanding of hope as a spiritual virtue which sustains, restores, and nurtures, given by God to bring us closer to the Lord.
Our staff will be asked to consider the distinctive ways a Marist education invites young people to journey through life with hope and trust in God’s loving presence.
Staff Spirituality Days are always a great opportunity to remind ourselves that we are first and foremost a Catholic community guided by the Marist and Mercy charisms. Days such as this allow our Notre Dame College staff to explore what this means and encourages us all to strive to be a place where the love of God is at the foundation of all we do.
It is also an opportunity for us to consider our own personal faith journeys. Please keep us in your prayers as we enjoy this day of prayer and reflection.
Have a great week,
Brendan Lindsay
