Sustainability News

As the weather cools, the Terra Tomodachi Thrift Shop is experiencing high level demand for all winter uniform stock. If you have second-hand winter uniform you could donate, we’d love you to think of us.

Donations can be brought directly to the Thrift Shop during opening hours each Wednesday from 3.20-4.20pm or left at Notre Dame College’s Knight St reception any time.

Remember, the proceeds from all Thrift Shop sales are shared between Terra Tomodachi projects and Notre Dame College’s annual Caritas Australian fundraising campaign, so your giving really does go a long way.

Call-out for second-hand WINTER UNIFORM.

Krispy Kreme Donut Fundraiser

On Tuesday, we held a Krispy Kreme fundraiser for the upcoming June / July Thailand Immersions. The fundraiser was coordinated by the Year 11 students and the staff partaking in the Immersion experience.

Together, they sold 65 dozen Krispy Kreme original glazed donuts. The money raised will go towards purchasing polo tops for those attending the trip, we will also be donating funds to the charities we visit on the trip.

Many thanks to Mrs McGregor for coordinating this yummy fundraiser.

Emmaus Aeronautics Space Company Takes Off!

Our rockets lifted off from the launchpad on Thursday 15 May, and it was nothing short of stellar. Designed and built by the Year 9 Big Bang Theory students, these stomp rockets showcased an incredible range of creativity in both materials and design. Launch heights were measured using scale drawings and trigonometry, helping students evaluate which features truly made their rockets soar. The enthusiastic spectators said: “It was a blast!”

ET, go home. We've got this covered.
