Important Information Regarding Student Leave Passes

Parents and guardians are kindly reminded of the following procedure for student leave passes:

  • Please do not call the school to arrange leave passes, as we are sometimes unable to relay messages to students in a timely manner.
  • Instead, please provide your child with a written note stating the time they need to leave.
  • Your child should show the note to their class teacher at the appropriate time and then sign out at Student Reception with the note. Allow extra time for this.
  • Students returning from an appointment must sign back in at Student Reception before returning to class.
  • Please do not use SEQTA or leave voicemail messages for leave passes, as these are not always monitored in real-time.

Thank you for your support in helping us manage student movement during the school day efficiently and safely.

Wellbeing Day

Wellbeing Day - The day begins with a pathways based presentation from Shape Your Destiny:

Shape Your Destiny is considered to be one of the most effective seminars run throughout Australia & New Zealand because it addresses the cause of why many students lack motivation at school and are unclear about their future. Students are taken on an unforgettable journey of self discovery so that they are empowered to make life-shaping choices about their future.

Outcomes of this session:

- to remove student confusion & uncertainty about their future by aligning their passions, strengths & ideals to a pathway best suited to them.

- to set aspirational goals that motivate students to perform well at school because they have connected to a compelling future.

- to take students through a comprehensive subject selection process that aligns to their personality & career profiles.

The second component of the day is an introduction session into the Year 10 Formal, where students will learn all they need to know about this exciting opportunity for our Year 10 students.

The final part of the day is delivered by Ctrl Your Scroll.

Ctrl Your Scroll is an evidence-based program designed to help individuals develop healthier digital habits to reduce their screen time and improve their overall wellbeing. Cntrl Your Scroll recognise that most people have never been taught how to use their devices effectively and safely. With technology evolving at an overwhelming pace, the benefits it offers often come with hidden dangers that only become apparent after the fact. Ctrl Your Scroll delivers programs to schools, corporates and sporting organsiations which respond to the hidden dangers which our devices are creating. Through research and personal experience, engaging workshops educate and skill participants to create healthier digital habits to improve their wellbeing.

Year 12 Anything But A Drink Bottle Challenge

Our Year 12 cohort had a fun time with this challenge....so....what is the 'Anything But A Drink Bottle' challenge?
It is exactly how it sounds – you have to drink out of something that isn't a drink bottle!

Students let their imaginations run wild and brought some very funny items - spray bottles, pots, kettles, watering cans, baby bottles....you name it!!

The winner for the day as voted by the College Captains was Jasmine Talarico for her fish bowl and electronic fish!

Year 12 Pyjama Day

As the winter chill sets in, our Year 12 students embraced a much-needed break from their usual uniforms, and donned their cosiest pyjamas for the final day of Term 2.

With the end of the school year in sight, and the conclusion of their high school journey approaching, Pyjama Day was a reminder that amidst the hard work, it’s important to take moments to relax and enjoy this special time with your peers.
