Students began the day with a liturgy led by Fr Adi, our College Chaplain and then they listened to the vocational journeys of Fr Adi, Sister Katherine and Sister Teresa from the Missionaries of God’s Love and Geoff Adams, a local parishioner who is married with three young children. Each of them shared the ups and downs of their vocations and were able to provide students with an insight into these different ways of living. We thank our vocations panel for being with us for this session.
The remainder of the day had students enjoying different workshops which included the creation of birthing kits for women in Africa, they explored their values and beliefs which set students up to create their own personal vision boards and they heard further from Sister Katherine and Sister Teresa about what God might be calling them to in life.
A big thank you to Lyndel Annett our Religious Education Leader who led the birthing kits workshops and to Megan Gray and Heather Turnbull from Wellbeing who led the Values and Beliefs workshops. We also thank all the staff who journeyed with our students over the two days. It was a great day for students to take time to think and pray about the big decisions that await them in the coming years.
Have a great week!
