As usual, it involved the ups and downs of life with many moments that made us smile, along with some times that challenged us.
As we head towards the Christmas holiday break I encourage you all to take time to reflect on the year that has been. What were your highlights? Where did you feel God’s presence? It may have been in the joy of a family gathering or the assistance you received from a friend. It may have been a special time spent in nature or a moment of laughter between colleagues.
The moment of the birth of Jesus is the greatest moment in history and its implications have played out over more than two thousand years. As a Catholic community we celebrate this great coming of God among us as Jesus. A small baby who grew up to be such a prominent figure and a true sign of God meeting as where we are at.
I pray that you all have a very happy and holy Christmas, spending time with family and friends and finding a moment to reflect on the great gift of Jesus among us.
Enjoy your break.
God Bless.
