The sun decided not to bless us, but it was a wonderful morning. These events would not be possible without the support of many staff and parents and I sincerely thank everyone involved in its organisation and to those who came along. The joyful images that were captured throughout the morning by our Media team speak volumes about how our community enjoys these events.
With the end of term fast approaching, let’s give some thoughts and prayers to many of our Year 12 students who are finishing off assessments and preparing for their practice exams in the second week of the term break. It always amazes me how quickly the Year 12 year goes by – it only seems like yesterday that they were heading off on retreat, yet, here we are, just about to announce our 2026 College Captains.
The Year 10's are a very excited group at present, with the Ball happening on Friday night. After weeks of practice, it's finally time for them to show us what they have learnt – teamwork, confidence, respect and of course, some coordination.
Friday is student free to allow staff to participate in our Marist Staff Spirituality Day. The programme for the day invites us all to take up our role as Pilgrims of Hope in the world and to look beyond as we engage in the evangelising mission of making Jesus known and loved. Following lunch, we will journey to the Botanical Gardens where Fr Adi will lead us in a time of prayer and reflection.
Have a great week ahead,
Emma Reynoldson
Acting Principal
