National Careers Week 2026
This year’s theme, Connect. Create. Thrive, reflects exactly what we are striving to build at Notre Dame College through Careers education and pathway support.
We believe Careers is not simply something students think about in Year 12, but a lifelong journey of exploration, growth, and opportunity.
This year, we are excited to introduce a new way of communicating, sharing and collaborating Careers information with students through our new Microsoft Teams Channel, connecting with students right where they already are. Our Senior Careers Team is becoming a central hub for pathway information, events, university and TAFE updates, employment opportunities, resources, and future planning support.
By creating access to information and scaffolding knowledge across all year levels, students are better equipped to explore their interests, build confidence and make informed decisions over time leading to informed decision in senior years.
While we have been focused in Term 1 & 2 on growing our Senior Careers channel, we are also excited to soon turn our attention toward Middle Careers and Junior Careers, helping students connect with their strengths, create possibilities, and thrive throughout their entire school journey through information and activity building exercises.
Because Careers is not just a senior school activity, it is a lifelong journey of becoming.
