Hume Region Athletics Carnival

40 NDC students competed at the Hume Region Athletics Carnival on 10 October in Albury.

NDC finished 3^rd in the Schools Aggregate Champions Award – a great effort against some very strong opposition, so well done to all students for contributing to this fantastic team result.

Following outstanding performances at the Carnival, the below students have qualified to compete at the School Sport Victoria State Athletics Championships in Melbourne on 20 October:

• 15yo Girls High Jump - Summa Sidebottom
• 16yo Girls 200m - Zara Ludeman
• 14yo Boys 400m- Fletcher Hicks
• 18yo Boys 800m - Jack Gospel
• 15yo Girls 1500m - Isla Shaw
• 17yo Girls 100m Hurdles - Annabelle Novac
• 18yo Boys 1500m - Jack Gospel

Brodie Kelly is doing amazing things!!

Brodie Kelly, (Year 8 Mungovan) competed at the FISAF Sports Aerobic National Championships on the Gold Coast Queensland during late August 2025 and placed 1st in the International Junior Male Catergory.

Well done Brodie!!

Based on this result, he has now earnt a spot on the Australian Team to compete at the FISAF World Championships in Prague, Czech Republic.

Brodie will fly to Prague this week with his Australian teammates and compete against the best athletes around the world.
