GMD Athletics Carnival

NDC students competed at the Goulburn Murray Division Athletics Carnival on the 5 September. NDC finished 2^nd in the Schools Competition, 2^nd in the Women’s Aggregate and 2^nd in the Male's Aggregate.

The following students had outstanding results to finish in the top two for their Age Group Champion award:

14 Yr Female: 2^nd Giaan Williamson

15 Yr Male: 2^nd Lucas O’Hora

17 Yr Female: 1^st Annabelle Novac - pictured below

Students who finish in the top two of their events will go through to the Hume Region Carnival in Albury on 9 October.

Shepp Notre Bears Football

On Sunday, 7 September, Deakin Reserve was filled with supporters on edge as Shepp Notre Bears took on the Echuca Murray Bombers in the Under 16s Grand Final.

Bears had the lead at half time (37-17) but with another half to go, they couldn't back down just yet. With a hard fought battle in the second half, Shepparton Bears managed to get over the line and bring home the trophy with a 27 point win.

The final score - Bears 12.5 (77) Echuca 7.8 (50).

A large majority of the players were Notre Dame College students and many participating in the College Sports Academy program.

We would like to congratulate all boys for this amazing and well earned achievement!

A special mention to Notre Dame College student, Archie Daniels, who was named best afield for the game. Well done Archie!
