Another busy and productive week at the College, with many moments that remind us of the strength, spirit, and connectedness of our community.

The cast for our 2026 College Production of The Addams Family has been released. Congratulations to all students who have been selected—this is a fantastic achievement and the beginning of an exciting creative journey. I also want to acknowledge every courageous student who auditioned. Your willingness to step outside your comfort zone and share your talents embodies the confidence and resilience we strive to nurture in all our learners.

This week we celebrate Harmony Week, a time dedicated to recognising and appreciating the rich cultural diversity that strengthens our College. It was wonderful to drop into Starkie Hall at lunchtime on Monday and see so many students enthusiastically engaging in cultural activities. The joy, pride, and sense of belonging on display were truly heartwarming. I look forward to our Harmony Day Assembly on Friday, where we will come together to honour the many cultures, languages, and traditions that enrich our school community.

A sincere thank you to our Year 7 and Year 9 students for their focus and effort throughout NAPLAN testing so far. We are incredibly proud of the calm, positive and determined way our students have approached these assessments.

Next week, our Year 9 students will be heading off on their Daborra Experience—a significant and formative opportunity in their learning journey. We extend our gratitude to David Cuzens and his team for the extensive planning and organisation that has gone into preparing this program. We wish all students and staff the very best for what we know will be an amazing and memorable experience.

You may have heard that our much‑loved College Chaplain, Fr Adi, will be moving on after Easter. Over the past 18 months, Fr Adi has contributed enormously to the wellbeing and heart of our community. His compassion, steady presence, and genuine care have supported countless students, families, and staff. While we will miss him deeply, he will always have a home here at our College, and we wish him every blessing in his next parish.
