Last Friday, we were privileged to gather for a whole school Mass led by Fr Ronaldo, whose ministry has been a valued part of our community.

The celebration was a prayerful and uplifting experience for students, staff and families, providing an opportunity to come together in faith and reflection. Fr Ronaldo's warmth, generosity and commitment to pastoral care have been evident since he began his time with us. At the end of this month, he will return to the Philippines to begin a new ministry. While we will be saddened to see him leave, we thank him sincerely for his service and wish him every blessing as he embarks on this exciting new chapter.

We have also been saddened by the recent passing of two retired and highly respected members of our College community, Gary Neilsen and Nigel Liggins, following periods of illness. Gary was a well-regarded Technology Teacher and Domain Leader, remembered for his dedication to students, his professional expertise and his support of colleagues. Nigel served as a Science Teacher and Domain Leader of Science for many years, inspiring generations of students through his passion for learning and commitment to educational excellence.

While both made significant contributions to the life of the College, they will be remembered most of all as good people who cared deeply for others. We extend our heartfelt condolences to their families and friends.

Finally, congratulations to all of our sporting teams who progressed to the final stages of their competitions over the past week. Their determination, teamwork and sportsmanship were exemplary, and they represented the College with great pride and distinction. We thank all students, coaches and staff involved for their commitment and effort, both on and off the field.

Enjoy the week ahead,

Emma Reynoldson – Acting Principal
