RSVP NowMedication Reminder for Parents/Guardians
Please be advised that students are not permitted to self-administer prescribed medication at school, including ADHD medications and other prescription medicines, unless specific arrangements have been approved by the school in accordance with school policies and procedures.
This requirement is in place to ensure the safety and wellbeing of students, support the correct administration of medication, and enable the school to maintain accurate medication records.
If your child requires prescribed medication during school hours, please contact the Office Manager as soon as possible to discuss the appropriate arrangements and ensure all required documentation is completed.
Uniform Expectations Reminder: Facial Hair and Jumper Requirements
We are seeking your support with two uniform matters that are continuing to create additional follow-up for staff but are straightforward to address.
Facial Hair
Several students are still not meeting the school’s expectations regarding facial hair, despite multiple reminders. Students are expected to be clean-shaven, with moustaches and goatees not permitted.
Cultural exemptions are available in some circumstances. Students with an approved exemption, have followed the appropriate process and met with the Principal for approval.
Jumpers
For the normal academic uniform, students should wear either the maroon full-zip soft-shell jumper or the traditional woollen jumper.
The quarter-zip PE jumper is not part of the academic uniform and should only be worn with the PE uniform.
We appreciate your support in reinforcing these expectations with students and helping us minimise the need for repeated follow-up.

Charging of College Notebooks
Please support your child’s learning by encouraging them to charge their College notebook each evening. A fully charged device should last the entire school day and is an essential tool for learning.
Under the College Notebook Programme, students are not permitted to bring chargers to school unless the charger is faulty and needs to be assessed by ICT, or the student is returning their notebook to the College.
If a student’s notebook runs low on power during the day, they may speak with their Head of House, charge their device in the library, or borrow a portable battery pack from ICT for use during a lesson.
When a battery pack is borrowed, a SEQTA notice will be sent home.
This notification is not a disciplinary measure; it is simply a reminder to help students build the routine of charging their notebook each night, so they are prepared for learning.
We appreciate your support in ensuring your child charges their College‑issued notebook each evening and does not bring their charger to school.
Establishing this simple habit helps students make the most of their device and ensures they are ready for learning each day.
