This week we were pleased to welcome Br Tony Clark, who works in formation and mission within the Marist community, and Darren McGregor, Regional Director for Marist Schools Australia, to our school.
Their visit provided an opportunity to discuss our involvement in a range of Marist learning, leadership and formation opportunities available to both students and staff. We value our connection with the wider Marist network and the opportunities it provides for our community to grow, collaborate and strengthen our understanding of the Marist charism. We thank Br Tony and Darren for taking the time to visit and for their ongoing support of our school.
Completing VCE is a significant achievement, and we congratulate students on the commitment and persistence they have shown throughout the year. We look forward to celebrating their efforts and achievements in the weeks ahead.
I would also like to acknowledge the work of our staff as they prepare to welcome our 316 Year 7 students who will commence with us in 2027. Over recent weeks, staff have been visiting our partner primary schools, meeting students and supporting their transition to secondary school. These visits are an important part of helping students feel comfortable and connected before they arrive next year, while also strengthening the relationships we have with our feeder primary schools. The conversations with our Marist colleagues, the dedication of our Year 12 students, and the commitment of staff supporting future students all reflect the strong sense of community that exists within our school.
Thank you to everyone for the contribution they make in ensuring our students are well supported and given every opportunity to succeed.
Have a great week,
Emma Reynoldson - Acting Principal
