This week also sees the release of Semester 1 reports, providing an important opportunity for students and families to reflect on progress, celebrate achievements and identify areas for growth. As we move into the next stage of the year, our subject selection information evenings will begin, making it a timely opportunity for students to start thinking carefully about their future pathways. Understanding your strengths, interests and aspirations is an important part of making good subject choices. I encourage students and families to engage fully in the subject selection process and to seek advice where needed.
Our Careers Team is available to support students as they explore their options and consider the pathways that best suit their goals, so please do not hesitate to reach out for assistance.
I would also like to recognise the efforts of our Terra Tomadachi group, who continue to work with Mr Guthrie and Ms Osmond to promote environmental stewardship across our College. Their leadership and advocacy encourage us all to take greater responsibility for caring for our environment and our shared spaces. One issue the group is currently focusing on is the ongoing challenge of litter in our school grounds. While there have been many positive initiatives, this remains a concern that requires the attention of every member of our community. Keeping our school clean is a shared responsibility, and I encourage all students to take ownership of their actions and help ensure our grounds reflect the pride we have in our school.
