Her audition was a last-minute decision, and a few days after completing a 3-hour workshop and audition she received an offer. While originally planning to go to university for physiotherapy, she couldn’t pass up the incredible opportunity.Ivy did calisthenics in childhood before starting dance in 2018. She does styles of Contemporary, Jazz, Ballet, Pointe, and Acro, with Acro being her specialty.
This year, Ivy has begun training in Jazz technique with Dance Prescription in Melbourne, where she travels on Sundays biweekly. On top of this, she continues to dance at UCANDANCE in Shepparton where she doubles as a student and a teacher.
Ivy has been accepted into Brent Street’s full-time Performing Arts course, where she will complete an Advanced Diploma in Elite Performance over two years. She continues to be an exemplary student at Notre Dame College, working hard to complete her studies to a high standard whilst balancing her extracurricular commitments.
