After two very successful immersion trips to Thailand by some Year 11 students this year, we are planning to run these again in 2026. On Tuesday, we ran an information session about these which was well attended by interested students and families.

An immersion experience is much more than a tour of another country – it’s about connecting with the people and the culture. For many, an immersion experience is life changing.

It has been affirming to see how our scored VCE students are preparing for their exams by coming into school in uniform each day and making the most of the revision opportunities their teachers are giving them. The science of learning would support these practices to maximise the retention and recall of information.

If you caught the webinar by Jared Cooney Hovarth last Wednesday, I am sure you would be nodding in agreement. We will be sharing another session, either online or at the College, by Jared next week on the topic of “Surviving Study: understanding the three keys to learning and memory”.

With our Early Commencement Programme only five weeks away, many subjects will be starting final assessments. The next few weeks will be an important time for our students to make sure all their work is up to date and required work is submitted on time.
