This year, our Terra Tomodachi team were privileged to work with the amazing Kylie Hoskin and Mel McAuliffe from the Greater Shepparton City Council Sustainability and Environment team. Together they planted over 200 native shrubs, grasses, and trees adjacent to the new shared path at the rear of Mooroopna Golf Course!
Tree planting is always a highlight of our Terra Tomodachi calendar, and it was great to see so many students happy to get their hands dirty in the name of nature.
This comes as a reminder that reading is a symphony for the mind, where each page is a new instrument, each chapter a movement, and every story a melody that lingers long after the final note.
Allow yourself the time to enjoy the symphony with your next read.
Thank you Emmi Rachele for another beautiful Library display.
Murrnong is the brainchild of the inspiring, nurturing, caring and sharing permaculturist, Dave Arnold, who treated our staff and students to an extensive tour of ever evolving biodiversity hub.
Patting the goats, savouring the mandarins, roasting the potatoes and walking the forests were just a few of the highlights of what was a truly inspiring day for our Terra Tomodachi team.
The experience gave us a vision for what a sustainable future can look like for our school, our homes, our community and our planet.
Huge thanks to Dave and his Murrnong family for a truly enjoyable day out.
