A big congratulation to Brendan Lindsay and the team for reimagining and coordinating our Caritas Ks event last Friday.

There was a wonderful atmosphere on the St Brendan's oval all day whilst each year level completed their walk for Caritas to raise money. I am sure you would agree the Media team captured the day exceptionally well on our social sites as well.

Some great news for our senior boys' football team, winning the State Schools Victoria grand final on Tuesday. From all reports, the conditions were very difficult with cold, windy weather, however, the team managed to win by 15 points over Lakeview Senior College.

With 2026 subject selections now closed for students in years 8 -11, the Learning and Teaching team are processing all the requests. Our Careers team have done a fabulous job keeping up with the many appointments to assist students with their decisions. With the data we have, we can now make decisions on what subjects will be running, what additional staffing we may need and begin the complex process of the 2026 timetable.

Term 3 has three weeks remaining and many assessments are currently in process or about to begin. I encourage our students to plan carefully for these, setting aside time to complete tasks at home when required and ensuring they are aware of any due dates for tasks.

Enjoy the upcoming week,

Emma Reynoldson
