Last Friday our entire school community participated in our annual Caritas Ks fundraiser.

Caritas K’s has been a part of the NDC calendar for many years. Its main focus is to raise money for Caritas and to create awareness of the great work that Caritas do across the world. It is also a great way for students to be involved in actively raising money and developing a greater understanding that there are many people in this world who struggle to fulfil basic needs such as food, water and shelter.

This year students completed laps of our school oval while carrying buckets of water which gave them a moment of solidarity with those 292 million people across the world who spend more than 30 minutes every day walking to collect safe, clean water. By taking part in this action students supported communities in Africa, Asia, and the Pacific.

Local businesses sponsored our House groups by donating $5 for every lap completed.

We thank BBQs Galore Shepparton, Terry White Chemmart Shepparton, The Milk Bar, Dale Wright Portrait Maker and Jacobson's Bus Lines for their generous support of our fundraiser. We also thank our Game Changer students who held a BBQ to raise further funds.
