With the end of semester only two weeks away, it is important for all students to remain focused on their academic responsibilities.
There are a number of assessment tasks due in the coming weeks, and students in Years 10 and 11 will soon begin their exams. This is a critical time for organisation and preparation, and I strongly encourage all students to be setting aside time at home for completing tasks and revising their work. Establishing good study habits now will not only support success this semester but build confidence for future learning.
A significant milestone has been reached in our Year 7 2027 enrolment process, with interviews now completed for all applicants who applied by the due date. This year marked a new approach, as we interviewed every student who applied to join our College, including siblings of current students and those attending Catholic primary schools. Our intention in doing this was to ensure we gained a deeper understanding of each individual—who they are, what they bring, and how we can best support their learning needs.
This was no small undertaking, with more than 350 interviews conducted. I would like to extend my sincere thanks to our administrative team for their exceptional coordination and organisation, as well as to the many staff members who gave their time to conduct interviews. It was an absolute pleasure to meet the Grade 6 students; their enthusiasm and eagerness to become part of our College community was evident and truly inspiring. We now move to the next stage of the enrolment process.
