From the Careers Team – What’s Happening

This fortnight’s Careers News highlights a wide range of opportunities and important information to support students in planning their future pathways. Key upcoming dates include the GAT on Tuesday 16 June for those undertaking Year 12 or Year 12 subjects, alongside exciting holiday programs such as the University of Melbourne’s Jazz and Improvisation Winter Camp and RMIT University’s Tech and Trades Experience Day, giving students valuable hands-on exposure to university learning environments.

Students and families can also explore important pathway information, including the difference between a Bachelor of Laws and a Juris Doctor, nutrition and dietetics study options at La Trobe University, and early entry opportunities through Swinburne University of Technology that do not rely solely on ATAR. In addition, detailed insights into Computer Science and Information Technology degrees across Victoria, as well as a spotlight on Australian National University, provide students with a clearer understanding of course options, entry requirements, and future career pathways.
