Tyron Mustey

Year 11 Notre Dame College Student, Tyron Mustey is taking the Muay Thai fight scene by storm!

Recently competing at the Muay Thai Australia National Championships in Melbourne, Tyron came home with a bronze medal. Although he wasn’t overly impressed with not getting a silver or gold, Tyron is philosophical about what he has achieved in the sport to date.

Tyron is a talented young man, combining boxing with dramatic arts as he has featured in many NDC plays and productions over the years, including the recent Year 11 Play "Blood Will Tell".

Tyron has been training for five years and says he has always been into martial arts and fighting sports, with Muay Thai being the discipline that stood out for him.

Being left-handed, Tyron can really trick his opponents, and he is incredibly strong and super-fast.

Well done Tyron, we look forward to seeing what you can achieve in this sport in the future.

Will Linnett

Year 9 student Will Linnett has been selected for the Team Vic Under 15 Boys' Hockey Team for 2026, and is headed to Melbourne in July to compete in the School Sport Australia Championships!

Will has played hockey since he was 5 years old, following in his father and older sisters’ footsteps, and now predominantly plays as a Goal Keeper.

This year, he has already been working hard in his sport, traveling to Melbourne on Tuesday and Friday nights to train and play for Mentone Hockey Club. Now, he will add Thursday nights to his travel schedule for State training leading up to the Championships.

Locally, he plays Hockey and Soccer on and off, occasionally helping out with trainings while juggling his many commitments.

Will is a dedicated student and athlete, and the College is extremely proud of his achievements.

Well done Will and all the best at the Championships in July!
