As VCE exams officially start, I wish our students the very best for this period of time.

It's important for them to look after themselves with sleep, good food, hydration, exercise and a balance of revision and social time. There are many great resources out there for students to use in managing themselves during these weeks and I would encourage them to use them.

VCE staff, Careers Advisors, Heads of House and our Wellbeing team are still available to support our Year 12 students, so please contact them if needed.

Our Careers Advisors have done a remarkable job in assisting our Year 12 VCE students lodge their VTAC applications, sort their preferences and assist with everything else that comes with making applications to university – scholarships, accommodation and even part time employment. Through the La Trobe University Aspire Programme, 61 students have already had an early offer to their chosen degree programme which is incredible.

We are well underway for our planning for transitioning our 2026 Year 7s. We have been visiting primary schools, collating information and making sure we are ready for them to begin at Notre Dame College. Our Information Night will be on 8 December, with Orientation Day the next day. More information will be sent out to our Year 7 families about these events in the coming weeks.

Our students get a mini mid-term break at the start of next week with Monday being a student free day for Years 7 to 11, and Tuesday being a public holiday for the Melbourne Cup. Our teaching staff have Professional Practice Time on Monday.

Enjoy the week ahead,

Emma Reynoldson, Acting Principal.
