Our VCE students commenced their final examinations on Tuesday. This is an important milestone and the culmination of a great deal of work, commitment and persistence over many years. We wish all students the very best as they undertake their exams over the coming weeks.

While preparation and study are important, students should also remember to look after themselves during this period. Getting enough sleep, maintaining a healthy diet, staying hydrated and making time for regular exercise can have a significant impact on focus, wellbeing and performance. We encourage students to maintain healthy routines and seek support if they need it.

A reminder to families that next Monday is a Professional Practice Day for staff, and students are not required at school. As students enjoy the extra-long weekend, it would be worthwhile taking some time to ensure classwork and assessment tasks are up to date and that upcoming deadlines are being planned for. We are only a few weeks away from a very busy assessment period, and students who are organised now will be best placed to manage their workload successfully.

As the weather continues to warm up, I would also like to remind families that school hats are required whenever students are outdoors during recess, lunch and other outdoor activities. Wearing a hat is an important part of our approach to sun safety and helps protect students from harmful UV exposure.

Thank you to our students, staff and families for their continued efforts throughout the term. We look forward to supporting all students as they finish the year strongly and wish our VCE students every success during the examination period.

Have a great week,

Emma Reynoldson - Acting Principal
