Sports Academy Netball

Melbourne Mavericks Excursion

Last week, our Sports Academy netball athletes travelled to Melbourne for an exclusive training day at the home of the Melbourne Mavericks. The students were first given court side seats to watch the entire main training session and learnt how hard elite netballers train!

This was followed by completing a training session themselves and being coached by Nicole Richardson who is the current assistant coach of the Mavericks and Australian Diamonds.

A huge thank you to our Head of Netball Jacinta Todd for organising this amazing opportunity for our students.
