As we start to progress through the term, I would like to acknowledge a number of recent events and thank members of our College community for their efforts and contributions.

Firstly, I extend my thanks to our College Captains for representing the College at the ANZAC Day commemorations. They did so with respect and pride, and their presence reflected well on our school community. We appreciate the leadership they demonstrated on such an important occasion and the way they upheld the values of our College.

I would also like to warmly welcome back Mr Cuzens, who has recently returned from the Marist Pilgrimage to France. This significant experience allowed participants to walk in the footsteps of Saint Marcellin Champagnat and gain a deeper connection to the origins of our Marist tradition. We look forward to the insights and reflections Mr Cuzens will share with our community following this pilgrimage.

Congratulations to all students for their participation in last Friday’s Athletics Carnival.

The day was a strong display of effort, sportsmanship and house spirit, with students engaging positively across a wide range of events. It was encouraging to see such enthusiasm and support for one another throughout the day.

My sincere thanks go to all staff who assisted with the running of the carnival. Events of this scale rely heavily on teamwork and organisation. In particular, I would like to acknowledge our Sports Coordinators, Rohan and Nonie, for their immense planning and coordination, which ensured the day ran smoothly and successfully. Their work, alongside the support of all staff involved, is greatly appreciated.

Looking ahead, I am eager to catch up with students and parents at our upcoming Parent–Teacher Interviews. These meetings provide an important opportunity to work together, share feedback and support each student’s learning and wellbeing. Strong partnerships between home and school are central to achieving the best outcomes for our young people.
