Opening College Mass

Last week our entire Notre Dame College Community gathered for our Opening College Mass.

This year it was celebrated by the new Administrator of St Brendan’s Parish, Fr Ronald Masilang who provided a wonderful reflection on our 2026 College theme- ‘Pursuing Peace with Grace’.

It was a time to come together as a Catholic Community to hear the Word of God and celebrate the Eucharist. Also, as part of the celebration, our College Captains and House Captains received their newly blessed leadership badges and made the following pledge to our community:

"As we accept these positions of leadership, we promise to uphold the values embodied in our College Motto:

To Seek to find Jesus through the inspiration of Mary

To See the marginalised in our community, and

To Respond in the ways of Marcellin and Catherine

We will work together for the good of Notre Dame College and we will encourage all students to maintain the honour of our College at all times".

This pledge is something that our Student Leaders take seriously and provides a road map for the servant leadership they have been called to. Please pray for our Student Leaders and our entire College community as we continue to pursue peace with grace in 2026.
