Welcome Bishop Rene

Last week our diocese joyfully welcomed Bishop Rene Ramirez RCJ as he was installed as the ninth Bishop of Sandhurst at Sacred Heart Cathedral in Bendigo. It was a wonderful gathering to celebrate this significant moment in our diocese.

HERE is Bishop Rene’s first homily which I would encourage you all to read. It provides an insight into his vision for our diocese moving forward. Bishop Rene will be visiting the parishes and schools in Shepparton later in the year so we look forward to welcoming him to Notre Dame College during this time. Please pray for him as he begins his ministry in Sandhurst.
