As a Catholic learning community, we are deeply grateful for the partnership we share with our families. I would like to sincerely thank parents and carers for their support of Wednesday's Staff Spirituality Day, which provided a valuable opportunity for our staff to come together in reflection, learning and renewal.
Guided by the theme "Live Life to the Full" (John 10:10), the day challenged us to consider how we can continue to nurture the spiritual, academic and personal growth of every young person in our care. We were privileged to hear from the Bishop of Broome, Most Reverend Tim Norton SVD, along with Stan Grant and Lisa McInnes-Smith, whose insights encouraged us to reflect on leadership, purpose, relationships and the importance of living lives grounded in hope and service.
Staff also had the opportunity to participate in a range of workshops facilitated by our own talented colleagues, showcasing the wealth of expertise and passion that exists within our community.
Over the past week, a significant focus for our students in Years 8 to 11 has been the process of selecting elective subjects for 2027. These decisions are important steps in each student's educational journey, helping them to explore their interests, strengths and future pathways. I encourage families to continue discussions at home as students consider the opportunities available to them and make informed choices about their studies.
