Notre Dame College Outstanding Athlete Awards

The Notre Dame College Outstanding Athlete Awards, proudly sponsored by the Marist Basketball Club, is presented to two students each semester who demonstrate good role model behaviour, commitment to academic performance, embrace the NDC values and have outstanding results in the NDC Sports Academy Program and/or when representing NDC at Inter School Sport.

The 2025 Semester One winners are:

Spencer Wright - Year 9

Spencer has shown a strong commitment to improve in all aspects of the Sports Academy program across 2024 and 2025.

He has continued to push himself in the before school skill sessions and strength and conditioning sessions which have helped him achieve great success on the basketball court this year. He has upheld the NDC values as well as the Sports Academy values of Kindness, Encouragement and Commitment. His commitment and dedication to his sport resulted in him being selected and playing for Victoria Country at the recent U16 State Championships in Bendigo where he performed extremely well across the tournament.

Well done Spencer!

Ashton Frost - Year 12

Ashton Frost is an outstanding student-athlete who continues to lead by example both on and off the field.

He captained the Senior NDC Cricket team with great maturity and is currently playing for the Senior NDC Football team. Ashton’s dedication and work ethic have earned him selection in the Vic Country U19 Cricket squad, and he’ll be playing for Footscray Cricket Club this upcoming season. A natural leader, Ashton consistently upholds our school values through his teamwork, discipline, and commitment. His achievements reflect not only his talent but also the hard work and leadership he brings to every opportunity.

Well done Ashton!
