We’re really pleased to see how strong attendance is in the early years. As students move through school, we tend to see a gradual drop. Even a few extra days off can make a difference. Students can miss key explanations, class discussions, and opportunities to practise skills.
Over time, this can affect confidence as well as progress. We’re continuing to work closely with students and families to support regular attendance, particularly in the middle and senior years.
How you can help at home:
- Encourage your child to attend every day where possible
- Try to book appointments outside school hours
- Let us know early if your child is finding it difficult to attend
