After winning the GMD Carnival played in March, NDCs Year 9/10 Boys Volleyball team competed at the Hume Region Volleyball Carnival in Wodonga on 29 April.

The results were:

Game 1: NDC 0 sets / 19 points defeated by Victory Lutheran College Wodonga 2/40

Game 2: NDC 0/30 defeated by Yea HS 2/40

Game 3: NDC 2/40 defeated Beechworth SC 0/30

NDCs best players were Liam Kelly, Jason Giri & Blessing Nhanhanga

SSV Swimming Championships

After outstanding performances at the Hume Region Swimming Carnival held in March, 3 students - Kiera Shaw, Nicholas Antonello & Amelia Baker - represented Notre Dame College at the School Sport Victoria State Swimming Championships on May 1st at MSAC in Melbourne. Competing against the best Swimmers from around the State, their results are noted below:

Women’s 12- 20yo 100m Butterfly, place 7th

Women’s 12- 20yo 100m Backstroke, place 6th

Women’s 16-20yo 200m IM, place 7th

Amelia Baker

Women’s 12- 13yo 50m Backstroke, place 4th
