Farewell Year 12 Students

This week we farewell our Year 12 students. A key part of their farewell events is the Year 12 Final Mass which was held yesterday in St Brendan’s Church.

For our Year 12 students this was the last time they will gather as a school community to celebrate the Eucharist in a Church that they have visited numerous times throughout their years at Notre Dame College.

During Fr John Paul’s homily he reminded students to follow the example of Mary the Mother of Jesus and be open to God’s will for their lives. Following the Mass students, staff, families and parishioners gathered for morning tea in the parish gardens.

As our Year 12 students move to the next chapter of their lives we pray that God will continue to journey with them and that they will always know the love of God. Each and every student has an amazing calling that God has given them so we pray that each student finds the path that will bring them true joy.

Please pray for our 2026 Year 12 students as many of them embark on further study, work opportunities, travel and more. In the spirit of Catherine McAuley and Marcellin Champagnat may they be positive contributors to society.

Keeping the chaos holy,

Brendan Lindsay - Deputy Principal Catholic Identity.
