At the end of Term 3, our Year 7 Humanities students visited Kialla's Australian Botanical Gardens to conduct fieldwork on rivers.
Students investigated the river features firsthand, observing examples of erosion, river paths and systems, and even identifying the confluence where two waterways meet.
They practiced their geographical skills by completing detailed field sketches and recording observations, applying what they’ve learned in class to the real environment.
